IL Car Crash Kills Three

March 22, 2017
A car accident has claimed the lives of three individuals in Ingleside, Illinois during the early hours of Wednesday. Residents of the Chicago suburb were awakened to sounds of helicopters and emergency personnel responding to the crash that happened at approximately 2 a.m. The Lake County Sheriff’s Department stated that a Kia Optima was traveling on Rollins Road when the vehicle veered off the roadway, collided with a tree and burst into flames. Emergency workers discovered three individuals in the car that were deceased. The county coroner could not identify the victims and stated that he will need to perform a dental records comparison and DNA testing to make a positive identification. Several residents that live near that stretch of roadway believe the curve is dangerous due to the sharp turn and lack of lighting. They claim there have been numerous fatalities caused in that area due to the dangerous roadway.
Many people assume the fault of a car accident is that of the driver. This is the most common cause of auto accidents, but auto accidents can also be caused by the negligent actions of other parties. Dangerous roadways, vehicle design flaws, and mechanical defects can also lead to car accidents that are not caused by the driver. The most effective way to determine who is responsible for an auto accident is to consult a skilled Illinois car accident attorney.
