Authorities responded to an Illinois auto accident involving a motorcycle on Monday morning in Murphysboro. At approximately 11:32 a.m. 43-year-old Jason Hall was operating his 2012 Kawasaki green motorcycle traveling on old Highway 13 westbound when he was struck by another vehicle. According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, 27-year-old Michael Chancy was driving a 2007 Honda car and attempted to make a left-hand turn onto Highway 13 from Williams Street when he struck Hull's motorcycle in the intersection. Chancy was not injured in the accident but unfortunately, Hull sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the traffic crash.

Individuals who are involved in auto accidents sustain physical, mental, and property damages.
